Food Plus: Food and Nutrition Meetings – 7

As GIFT and the Nutrition Institute, we continue our “Food Plus: Food and Nutrition Meetings” series. On Tuesday, 17 February 2026, we came together for the seventh time under the theme of “Almond Day” for an event titled “From Nuts to Health: Good Practice Examples for Value-Added Products.” We would like to thank our valued corporate supporters and all participants for contributing to this meeting, which brought together public authorities, the private sector, academia, health professionals, and industry associations.

During this program, we hosted representatives from the Ministry of Health’s Department of Healthy Nutrition and Active Life, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry’s General Directorate of Food and Control, and the Ministry of Trade’s Directorate General of Consumer Protection and Market Surveillance, as well as relevant academics and industry stakeholders. Together, we identified policy notes that can be jointly advanced through collaborative work.
